Where to find frosé in Melbourne

For the uninitiated, frosé is the latest and possibly greatest hybrid beverage to hit the big time: i.e. Melbourne.  It’s basically rosé wine and some fruit in slushie form.  Not all frosés are created equally.  Here are some of our fav places to pick up the coolest (get it?) drink this summer and bring the frosés back into your cheeks.

Hopscotch

After a few rounds of hopscotch, yes they really have a hopscotch ‘pitch’, you’ll not only want a frosé to cool off, you’ll deserve one. Luckily Hopscotch has the sweet fruity beverage on their extensive drinks menu.

Father’s Office

On a balmy summer’s evening, Father’s Office offers the perfect location to sit back, sip an icy frosé, and people watch from their expansive balcony.  Along with frosé, the drink menu offers colourful cocktails that can be enjoyed alongside tasty treats such as their New Orleans Blackened Cajun chicken wings.

Common Man

This summer the Common Man at South Wharf Promenade not only offers frosés to slurp on but a pop-up cinema and Lillet Secret Garden pop-up. Put these together with stunning views and sunshine and you have the makings of a perfect summer day.

Riverland Bar

Riverland Bar’s frosé offering comes complete with a carnival pink straw; this raspberry-red frosé is topped with edible flowers and strawberries creating the ultimate summer tipple. Served ice-cold and sweet, pair your frosé with Riverland Bar’s Southern sticky ribs and a view of the Yarra River.

A frosé by any other name would still taste as sweet at Riverland.
