MSFW 2009: The week that was

The team at Melbourne Spring Fashion Week are proud to say that 2009 was an incredible event that showcased Melbourne’s key designers, retailers, clubs and venues to over 30,000 visitors. It certainly brought a spring buzz to the city.

At the Melbourne Town Hall, fashion followers had the chance to see 26 of Australia’s hottest designers at the four Designer Series Shows and 27 of Melbourne’s newest talents at the RMIT 4th Year Collections.

Plus the hip Melbourne fashion set sipped champers and nibbled canapés at the MSFW Stilettos & Bubbly, were primped and preened in the Beauty Room and partied into the night at the Official After Parties!

But the MSFW fun didn’t stop there. The city was abuzz with more events from the Town Hall to Docklands, North Melbourne and Carlton. Visitors were treated to an array of exhibitions, markets, parties, tours, discussions, movies and workshops that had something for everyone.
